Fraser Valley is looking for a part-time Receptionist, like YOU, to join our new, dynamic practice!

Who Are You?

As a Receptionist with Fraser Valley Chiropractic and Wellness, you will own the front office space by fostering a positive and productive work environment for clients, practitioners, and employees. You will address all client and practitioner needs with care and patience, maintain a clean and organized office space, and optimize processes to establish a strong foundation for Fraser Valley’s new practice.

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication abilities, to be an open and continuous learner, dedicated to delivering an exceptional client experience, to be detail-oriented and diligent about protecting and maintaining client information, and an active contributor that is passionate about setting the right tone for Fraser Valley.

A Day in the Life

  • Foster a welcoming and productive practice by delivering excellent customer service and attending to client needs in collaboration with practitioners.
  • Own all client correspondence by answering phone calls, responding to emails, making outbound calls, and scheduling appointments using Jane App.
  • Maintain a clean office by wiping down high-contact surfaces, providing sanitizer to clients, and adhering to COVID safety guidelines.
  • Acquire payments from clients and issue direct billing of insurance providers, such as WCB and ICBC.
  • Complete daily closing duties by securing computers, wiping down all surfaces, completing end-of-day balances, and tidying the front desk.

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of experience as a Receptionist, Office Administrator, or Administrative Assistant in a start-up, dynamic work environment.
  • A friendly, welcoming, and personable demeanor that fosters positive client relationships and chiropractic experience.
  • Professional and versatile written and verbal communication skills to work effectively with managers, clients, and key stakeholders.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational abilities to manage competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to employ discretion, integrity, and honesty to manage and protect clients’ confidential and sensitive medical information.

Nice to Haves

  • History thriving as a receptionist in the chiropractic or healthcare industry is considered an asset.
  • Exposure to direct billing of insurance providers, such as WCB and ICBC, is considered an asset.
  • Being technically versed in or familiar with Jane Clinic Management Software is considered an asset.
  • Being actively involved in creating and implementing administrative processes is considered an asset.
