Job title: Contractor/Maintenance Worker

Job description: The incumbent is responsible to and under the direction of the Facilities Director and provides professional maintenance services.

Maintenance

• General building maintenance of ACS buildings owned or leased.
• Replaces lights or rebuilds fixtures.
• General grounds maintenance of ACS buildings.
• Prunes trees, plant flowers and shrubs, weed and water.
• Power washing.
• Maintains sidewalks and parameters of parking lot.
• Snow removal of all walks and entrance ways and ice melt applications.
• Meeting Room set up and dismantling.
• Building and Moving furniture and equipment as required.
• Hanging pictures, signage etc., as required.
• Maintaining all tables, chairs and equipment – ensure all is returned to proper destinations.
• Painting and minor renovations.
• Running errands and picking up supplies as requested by Facilities Director.
• Other duties as required.

Organizational

• Reports to the Facilities Director on a regular basis and engages in performance reviews prior to the end of probation and at least yearly thereafter.
• Represents the agency in the community in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
• Participates in agency committees as requested.
