They provide surveillance technology and solutions that keep people safe. Now, they are looking for an IT Specialist to join their team. They are looking for you! IT Specialist As the new IT Specialist, your focus is to provide hands-on technical support both internally and externally. Serving as a subject-matter expert on a wide range of software and hardware tools and applications, you’re your focus is to provide hands-on technical troubleshooting to solve complex tech issues for your team, conduct end-user training, and serve as an administrator for our main applications. You’re known for your exceptional customer-service skills. Our team will feel comfortable coming to you for any support they need and will be confident in your ability to resolve issues in a timely manner. You’re professional, personable, and a clear communicator, with a keen ability to translate technical jargon into easy to understand information. Practically speaking you will be: – Supporting development and maintenance of client and user systems related to a broad range of business areas – Collaborating with colleagues to develop technical and specialized solutions to complex IT problems involving Microsoft-based software products, including Exchange, Dynamics CRM and Microsoft’s Office 365 suite – Recommending process improvements to ensure system reliability, scalability, security, integrity and performance – Installing hardware and software, configuring, troubleshooting and supporting – Providing daily support to the IT department and other departments as required The Details This is a full-time, permanent position, with a comprehensive benefits package, vacation, and competitive salary. Qualifications – Relevant College/University/Industry diploma/degree/certifications – Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience, with preference for greater experience – Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills – Expertise in Windows and Microsoft software, including MS Office, Exchange – Sound knowledge of Linux OS – Expertise in hardware maintenance including servers, workstation, printers – Extensive knowledge of networking (LAN, WAN, firewalls) – Knowledge and experience with maintaining databases and information systems such as MRP software, accounting software, and collaboration software – Microsoft Certification in Exchange 2016 or higher – Microsoft Certification Windows Server 2012 or higher Your Application We value diversity and inclusion and encourage all qualified people to apply.
