Job description: Management Reporting: * Provide analytical and process support to IM Technology and IM Operations Divisional, as well as Tech & Ops COO leadership. * Deliver excellent customer service through actionable solutions, which enables our stakeholders to evaluate and make strategic decisions to drive commercial success. Financial Management: * Responsible for financial oversight including budgeting, forecasting, financial performance, cost allocations, and cost center rates management Business Management: * Responsible for headcount and funding requests, cost control reviews and monthly accounting/financial hygiene of the IM Technology and IM Operations organizations Organizational Governance & Other Maintenance: * Responsible for supporting organizational activities including cost center and department structure maintenance, allocation sets maintenance, leadership presentations, and other related activities Application Life cycle Governance: * Provide financial and process governance on application decommissions. Work Experience/Educational Requirements: * Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Finance and/or Technology Business Management ideally in Financial Services * Bachelors Degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance and/or Accounting Role Requirements: * Experience with financial management and budgeting processes, activities, and concepts * Have a solid understanding of financial principles such as Software Capitalization and accrual basis accounting * Demonstrated ability to create concise and cogent management reporting * Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills * Strong analytic and problem-solving skills * Ability to be flexible with ever-changing prioritization * Ability to influence in a matrix environment, and drive change throughout the organization, across departments and levels * Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint including Pivot Tables, vlookups, embedded formulas, and data manipulation * Thorough attention to detail and precision * Comfortable with ambiguity and able to implement structure where needed * Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment Our client is located in Montreal and is looking to grow their team by adding an experienced Junior Finance Manager.
