Junior Group Sales Manager

The Banff Hospitality Collective Sales Department is responsible for group bookings at the following venues: Three Bears Brewery & Restaurant, Hello Sunshine, The Maple Leaf, The Balkan, Park Distillery, The Bison, Chuck’s Steakhouse & High Rollers. Reporting to the Director of Sales, this position is responsible for all bowling & karaoke packages, as well as small group bookings including social and corporate groups.

What You’ll Do:

• Respond to assigned leads in a timely manner (within 48 hrs.)
• Answer follow up questions, propose venue alternatives and quote rates
• Coordinate contract and process event deposit to confirm booking
• Coordinate all event details with the client to ensure a seamless experience
• Prepare a banquet event order to effectively communicate all event details to front and back of house teams

What You Have:

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail, ability to work systematically, and follow departmental processes.
• Competent with all Microsoft Office programs, administrative systems and departmental event software (once onboarded).
• Ability to work effectively with other members of the sales team and with venue teams, communicate clearly & regularly to ensure groups are well planned and running smoothly.
• Strong written skills, ability to communicate professionally with clients.
