A well-established distributor is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for their St-Laurent office. In this role, you will be managing a variety of international imports of quality, high-end products to sell in big box retailers throughout Canada and the US. This role comes with group insurance (health, dental, and life) paid at 50% by the employer after three months.
As the Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
– Coordinating and tracking shipments
– Processing custom documentation (which the suppliers provide)
– Entering purchasing orders and expediting the purchasing process
– Interacting with third party logistic providers
– Creating packing lists
– Updating shipment information
Qualifications:
– At least 2 years’ experience in logistics, purchasing or a related field
– Fluency in English (most of the work is in English) and at least functional in French
– Good computer skills in Excel and SAP (an asset)
– Well organized, able to multi-task, and attentive to details
