Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Reporting Analyst who will be responsible for supporting the Management team in reporting and data analysis.

RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Design, develop, deploy, and monitor reports across all departments.
  • Perform data manipulation and analysis using SAS, SQL, Crystal Reports and Microsoft Excel.
  • Manage a queue of report requests and prioritize according to ongoing business needs.
  • Serve as SME on data and programming issues.
  • Assist in the creation of effective data extraction, analysis and transformation capabilities.
  • Working with cross-functional business leads, create and assist in the production of management and KPI reporting, automating reporting to drive optimal efficiency.
  • Analyze data for trends and patterns, making recommendations related to the interpretation of those data.
  • Assist in the creation of forecasting and tracking for targets related to finance, credit, and operations.
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned pertaining to the role

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Business Administration, or comparable field preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Strong coding and scripting experience in a combination of the following:
  • Programming: SAS, Python, R, Matlab
  • Database: SQL server, Oracle, MySQL
  • Integration/ETL tools: SSIS, fivetran
  • ​Visualization: PowerBI, Tableau, Looker
  • Experience cleaning, processing, and analyzing large volumes of data from multiple sources
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the financial industry.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Good understanding of Data Analysis
  • Microsoft office experience with advanced Excel skills
  • Knowledge of Power BI
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, time management and critical thinking skills with the ability to make sound decisions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Knowledge of statistics and predictive modelling
  • Comfortable managing simultaneous priorities and working in an exciting fast-paced environment
