  • You are open to learning, have a general can-do attitude and are energized by working on a team
  • You’re not the type to ever be caught cutting corners because you’re obviously Health-and-Safety-conscious
  • You have at least 6 months of customer service work experience in a restaurant, retail or similar environment (preferred but not required)
  • You are totally cool with working in a physically demanding, fast-paced, environment

Key responsibilities (text) • Being an active IKEA Ambassador by ensuring our customers are always in focus

  • Serving customers and processing transactions accurately and promptly, including cash handling.
  • Ensuring that quality, efficiency and correct pricing is maintained and that our product range is displayed in an appealing manner
  • Focusing on our daily and weekly sales targets
  • Preparing to answer questions about our sourcing practices, ingredients, specials and standards
  • Responsible for a clean, tidy, organized, accurately priced, attractive and inviting workspace
  • Actively abiding by all IKEA safety standards, policies, and food waste programs
  • Assisting other co-workers as required.

– This role requires availability to work up to 34 hours per week.
– Weekend availability is required for this role
