Position Summary
If you have experience in acute medical nursing and you are a reliable, flexible and motivated registered nurse, we are currently seeking a relief part time (0.65 FTE) RN to join our busy 5S unit at the Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, B.C. This relief is until January 7, 2022 or return of the incumbent.

5S is a 20-bed General Medical floor with a team nursing mix of RN’s and LPN’s. This floor works with a Hospitalist, Respirologists, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Gastroenterology and General surgeons. We work collaboratively with Transition Liasons, an OT, a PT and Social Workers. Nurses work 12 hour days and nights as required. Shifts of work are days and nights 07:30-19:30 and 19:30 to 07:30 hours.

As the Registered Nurse you will work in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, to ensure the delivery of client-centered care by assisting individual clients and their families respond to changing health care needs.

Qualifications
Education, Training and Experience:

  • Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
