The General Manager for the Copper Point Resort (177 rooms) and the Invermere Inn & Suites (46 rooms) will be responsible for all aspects of the hotels operations including providing exceptional guest service, establishing a quality team of staff and managers and maximizing revenues and the bottom line.
Job Summary
Direct operation of the hotel to drive revenue, manage costs and maintain quality standards.
Lead the property as its brand & culture ambassador and create an environment where team members feel inspired and engaged.
Shape customer feedback to be constructive and provide strategic direction to continuously improve overall ratings.
Embody leadership by setting performance goals for employees, hands-on coaching & support. Innovate & reward those high achievers.
A strong understanding of all departments is required i.e. Administration, Sales and Marketing, Front desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance and Food & Beverage.
Education and Experience
A minimum of 20 years’ experience in hospitality is required, with a strong understanding of all departments, particularly Food & Beverage and Human Resources.
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Hospitality or Hotel Management an asset.
