Job description: What is the opportunity?
As a Senior IT Operations Analyst, GCS Automation & Instrumentation you will support with technical escalations, incidents and project management. Your responsibilities require you to facilitate the automation of applications, systems, and processes as they relate to Global Communication Services. Additionally, you will perform data analysis, build reports, visualizations and drive insight.
What will you do?
- Automate alert monitoring systems for the team.
- Identify chronic problems, design and implement a remediation plan
- Create and analyze reporting results/dashboard and identify issues, trends and communicate to Management
- Investigate and implement IT framework to ensure security requirements are met
- Provides a focal point for process/tool enhancement, liaison for requirements gathering/documentation as it relates to operational system support
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
- University or College Degree in Computer Science or a related field or Equivalent years of experience as an IT Analyst
- Typically requires 5 – 7 years of related experience.
- Information Technology operational support experience
- Basic knowledge of networking
- Scripting/programming/relational databases
- In-depth technical understanding in a variety of hardware and software platforms
Nice to Have:
- Industry knowledge of networking technologies and vendor products such as Cisco, Arista, Aruba and/or CheckPoint, and a solid understanding as to how they are implemented within the financial services industry
- Collaboration tools support experience
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools
- ITIL v3: Foundations, Operational Support & Analysis
