Our expectations:
The Sales Expert is responsible for ensuring that every customer has an exceptional experience by suggesting the right products and services necessary to complete their projects. A passion for service and a willingness to develop product knowledge are key components of this role.
Your role:
Ensure that every customer experience exceeds the customer’s expectation
Proactively provide RONA customers with expertise and assistance
Quote projects, follow up on leads, and close sales
Promote add-on sales, product benefits, and services such as installation, financing, and deliveries
Inform customers of current promotions and financing options
The qualifications we are looking for:
Customer service-focused with the ability to master and continuously apply the eight service standards
Motivation and ability to meet and exceed sale targets by ensuring each customer’s needs are satisfied
Desire to assist colleagues including through coaching and mentoring team members around them
Strong listening and communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm and positive in stressful situations
Mature, responsible, with sound decision-making skills
Proficient with computers, able to learn new software and processes
At least 4-5 years of relevant previous experience required
Construction or home renovation experience (an asset)
