The Store Design department is searching for the right applicant to fill a critical position in our Calgary head office. The Design Coordinator will be responsible in providing a pivotal support role in the team, including, and not limited to CAD drawings and 3D modeling.

To help define where and how we work, CTC has introduced Hybrid Workplace Personas. While each role fits into a different persona category, this may evolve as employees progress in their career or business needs change. The Design Coordinator position is categorized as a

Roamer, which means that the incumbent can successfully complete their role objectives virtually and are not required to be present on a CTC campus unless they choose to do so.

What you’ll do

  • The creation of retail fixture plans
  • Frequent communication and coordinate between procurement, construction, and stakeholders to ensure standards and timelines are adhered to
  • Production of design and construction drawings using AutoCAD
  • Produce 2D and 3D presentation and renderings when required
  • Interior and exterior graphics coordination
  • Maintenance of updated finish/sample and vendor library
  • Special projects and new initiatives as required
  • Overall support to the team when requiredWhat you bring
  • Proficient in SketchUp, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Proficient in AutoCAD & Revit
  • Ability to work in a highly flexible work environment in both remote and in person collaborative office
  • Creative and courageous, with the ability to manage in an environment of change and ambiguity to help us take bold, strategic moves in this rapidly evolving retail environment
  • Superior communication, time management, and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Energetic with strong verbal and visual communication skills
  • Creative and inspirational thinker with the motivation to learn
  • Must be proactive, detail orientated and take initiative as well as follow direction
  • Strong customer service skills through in person, phone, and email interaction
