Take Out Counter Clerk

Terms: Part Time

Must be available to work Saturdays

Qualifications:
– Training will be provided
– Able to follow directions
– Able to follow all health and safety rules in the kitchen
– Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure
– Ability to multitask and prioritize
– Positive Attitude
– Ability to work well as a member of the team
– Safe Food Handler’s Course an asset
– Previous cashier experience an asset
– Previous kitchen experience an asset
– Previous customer service necessary

Responsibilities:
– Serve customers in a timely and polite manner
– Operate cash register and collect accurate payments
– Answer phones and take orders
– Prepare ingredients and cook chicken and fries to order
– Prepare salads to order
– Maintain a clean and orderly work area
– Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
– Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
– Assist cook and kitchen staff
– Work as part of a team to deliver great service
