Job Description:
2D is an in-patient Mental Health unit that supports the recovery of the acutely ill patient. The Mental Health Team is committed to delivering the highest quality of care in a safe, therapeutic environment.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a recognized College or School of Nursing and preferably hold a Baccalaureate degree
- Current certification from the College of Nurses of Ontario
- At least 3-5 years of experience in Mental Health
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and well under pressure within time constraints and effectively within a multi-disciplinary framework.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care
- Demonstrated excellent communication, facilitation, critical-thinking and conflict resolution
- Skills
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal; skills with the ability to work collaboratively will all members of the team
- Ability to provide leadership to projects and accomplished goals
- Commitment to the vision and goals of the Mental Health Program
- Positive attendance and work record
