Job description: We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic individual to join our Snow Removal Team. This position can transition into our summer landscape maintenance and construction work.

As a member of the Ground Guys team you will perform snow removal, de-icing and snow hauling at high levels of quality and service. Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees. We use the latest equipment for snow removal to make the operators job easy and efficient.

You are self-motivated, thrive in fast moving environments, and are able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Performs snow removal duties such as plowing sidewalks, de-icing, shovelling, operating snow blowers.
• Addresses clients’ questions, comments, and concerns or refers clients to the Team Leader as appropriate
• Assists Team Leader with route and job planning and organization, thereby ensuring sufficient resources and materials are readily available
• Assists with equipment maintenance and repair under supervision of the Team Leader
• Performs other duties as required

Job Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License with clean record
• Willingness to work on-call shift work. Weekly on-call stand by pay is paid monthly in the amount of $100/week ($400/month).
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to waist level and perform all other physical requirements associated with a position of this nature
• Shop is located at 1247 Loudoun Rd, Winnipeg MB
