How You’ll Help
- Providing drivers with copies of there end of day sheets and paperwork
- Administrative duties including scanning, imaging, copies, filing.
- Input pick up BOL’s and update POD’s.
- Pick-up bills and POD’s: Enter bills and POD’s. Upload and edit EDI files. Ensure COD and cash shipment payments are received before tendering to agents.
- Reports: Skeleton reports – following up on BOL’s Make sure BOL’s are imaged.
- Follow established daily basic routine.
- Monitor email’s
- Bank check-in and reporting
- Driver check-in at end of day requires that you assure the drivers/brokers have all their paperwork in order.
- Send end of shift report for any missing BOL’s.
- Opening Gate Electronically for drivers/ Hold for Pick up Customers.
- Other related duties as may be required.
Your Skills & Experience
- Minimum of secondary education, with preference of post-secondary education (general stream), or a combination of education and experience.
- Previous Transportation or operational experience is preferred, various roles within transportation would be beneficial. Business Management experience.
- Communication skills – advanced
- Computer skills – accuracy, MS products, AS400, web based programs
- Attention to detail
- Demonstrated customer / Driver relationship skills
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Able to work deadlines in high transactional environment
- Ability to champion business needs in a collaborative manner to colleagues
