Job description: JOB SUMMARY

Our client requires an RN to provide COVID-19 screening/testing services for passengers landing at the Toronto International Airport.

These assignments are to begin ASAP in Jan 2021 and run until March 31, 2021 with the likelihood of extension. A minimum 3 week commitment is mandatory.

Shifts include noon to midnight and midnight to noon.

Part time or full time hours are available. All overtime and stat holidays will be paid out at time and a half as per provincial labour law guidelines.

Accommodation will be provided at nearby hotel if your residence is more than 50KM from the hotel, as will a meal per diem.

Mileage will be paid from your home to the accommodation and return if you live more than 50KM from the work site. From the location you will be able to walk to work.

SCOPE OF WORK

– temperature screening and providing health assessments for those returning travelers who are required to quarantine for 2 weeks

– data entry into record keeping systems

– daily check in with quarantined patients

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

All Registered Nurses must, as a minimum, have:

Education

• Graduated from a Registered Nurse Program approved by Council of the College of Nurses;
• A license from the CNO;
• A current Certificate of Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider or Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation/Automated External Defibrillator (CPR/AED) Level C or HCP.

Experience

All RN’s must have a minimum of 1 year of experience. Preference will be given to those with public health and/or infectious disease experience
