Armor People Link is hiring for Crown Reach and Counterbalance forklift operators to work for our logistics and distribution client in Mississauga. This is a long-term, ongoing position with excellent potential of becoming a permanent full-time job.
Location: Britannia Rd West & Erin Mills Pkwy in Mississauga
Morning Shift: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
Afternoon Shift: 3:30 PM-12:00 AM
Pay rate: $22/hour + 4% vacation pay
Overtime will be paid after 44 hours, pay is on weekly basis
What you will be doing:
– Forklift driver would be responsible to operate any of the machines based on daily/weekly operational requirements (Crown Reach and Counterbalance)
– Shipping and Receiving
– Order picking using WMS Building and staging shipments
– Stock put-away
– Inventory maintenance/rotation
– Load and unload trailers/containers as required
– Actively communicate with supervisors and operators to effectively handle material and notify them of problems/concerns
Requirements:
Who is an ideal candidate:
– The warehouse is a narrow aisle and wire- guard setup. Forklift drivers must be experienced to operate Crown reach machine on wire guard work environment
– Must have minimum 2 years experience on Crown Reach and Counterbalance forklift
– Must have valid Forklift license to operate Reach and Counterbalance machines
– Ability to pass the Background check
– Associate will be required to pass an initial safe forklift operator test at our client site
– Associate must be comfortable working in a fast paced, productivity-focused environment
– Associate must be comfortable with frequent bending, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs
