.My client, an innovative Logistics and Warehousing company, is looking for a Lead Logistics Coordinator to join their team in the Greater Vancouver Area. The Lead Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the logistics team while partnering with sales and supporting executive leadership with continued growth. The ideal candidate for this position must have transportation experience, demonstrating strong leadership skills, with outstanding organization and planning abilities.

Lead Logistics Coordinator responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the warehouse team and carriers to coordinate incoming shipments and ensure all information is communicate to stakeholders.
• Truck route planning.
• Maintain driver hiring.
• Manage shipment tracking reports and related documents.
• Organize documents for international purchase order.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to reconcile any inventory discrepancies for national and international orders.
• Participate in physical inventory counts and ensure inventory is accurate and modified as needed.
• Provide suggestions that maximizes operational efficiencies.

The successful candidate has:

• 4+years of relevant experience, preferably in operations or supply chain position
• TMS experience is mandatory
• Experience with Excel
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent collaboration skills
• Ability to manage several priorities while ensuring deadlines have been met
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to details
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced and changing driven environment

Compensation and benefits:

• $70 000, may vary depending upon experience
