Located in Delta, BC
Salary: $18.00
Primary Duties include but are not limited to:
Prepare materials for work orders
General production duties as required assembling hardwood flooring samples
Finish small prep items
Assemble for shipping
Shop clean up as necessary
Qualifications/Experience:
Grade 12 or equivalent
Minimum of one-year experience in a similar position working with wood products or
A combination of training, including technical courses related to the work, and experience in wood working
Experience with commercial table saw, mitre saw, air and hand tools
Ability to life 50-75 lbs.
Knowledge of the hazards and proper safety precautions
Ability to read and interpret work orders and sketches
Ability to take direction
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Working conditions:
Duties performed in a small shop environment within a large warehouse. Job is physical in nature, requiring routine light and heavy physical effort and manual dexterity. Extended periods of concentration and visual effort are required.
