Job title: Project Coordinator – Elevator Operations
Job description: Reporting to the Director of Special Projects, the Elevator Operations Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient maintenance, modernization, and compliance of elevators across our properties.
What will you be responsible for?
Elevator Operations and Maintenance:
Research Elevator Company’s operations.
Develop a comprehensive elevator database.
Revise Elevator Tender packages and specifications.
Support the oversight of elevator maintenance across the hotel chain.
Assist in coordinating and facilitating elevator repairs and modernization projects.
Assist in the management of maintenance agreements and contracts.
Contribute to the implementation of a post-maintenance program.
Supplier and Vendor Management:
Identify and source elevator providers and suppliers.
Create standardized bid forms and bid on modernization projects.
Assist in contract negotiations and maintaining the purchase list.
Evaluate vendor performance and satisfaction.
Issue purchase orders and monitor work progress.
Assist with the termination of existing elevator service providers.
Project Coordination and Data Management:
Coordinate elevator-related tasks for new hotel construction projects.
Coordinate elevator maintenance for existing hotels.
Conduct surveys to identify issues and elevator types.
Maintain records of equipment specifications, maintenance agreements, modernization details, and costs.
Stakeholder Communication and Compliance:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall hotel operations.
Communicate regularly with hotel managers and stakeholders regarding elevator-related matters.
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure contracts and agreements are in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Implement sustainability initiatives related to elevator energy efficiency and eco-friendly practices.
Provide training and guidance to hotel staff on elevator-related matters.
Act as a point of contact for escalator-related matters in hotels or restaurants.
Support the growth and development of company culture and professionally represent Northland Properties.
Perform other duties as required.

Proficiency in database management software.
Experience with elevators and elevator modernization processes would be an asset but not required
