Job description: Your Opportunity:

The Administrative Support IV works with a high degree of independence and in concert with the Admin Lead DI Research and the Scientific Director Seaman Family MR Research Centre. The position will interpret client needs, assess requirements and identify solutions to a variety of issues and requests. Other responsibilities are but not limited to; Reviews received referrals for completeness of clinical information and contacts referring Physician office to collate missing information. Responsible for making appointments for patient procedures. Accurately logs and tracks information relating to patients and volunteers involved in Research and Development studies being conducted in the area. Ensures the appropriate consent forms are accurately completed and filed. As a member of the Seaman Family MR Research Centre Team is responsible for communicating to internal and external clients in a positive and productive manner and promoting the development of the Centre Team: Works co-operatively with peer group to ensure that there is a positive, effective and efficient work environment. Establishes and maintains liaison with other hospital staff. Enters Payroll. Coordinates meetings, takes, prepares and distributes minutes. Processes accounts payable on PeopleSoft as required. Assists in the orientation and training of new staff members and students. Answers telephones inquiries in a prompt and professional manner: provides general information, answers departmental inquires, returns or redirects calls as necessary; makes appointments and maintains schedules. Works collaboratively with members of the team to maintain a positive, effective, and efficient work environment. Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in business administration, medical office assistant), or other related fields. Additional Required Qualifications:

High School Graduate plus 3 years of related experience. Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to prioritize work, multi-task, and effectively cope with frequent interruptions. Command of the English Language both spoken and written is required and the incumbent must display professionalism and respect at all time. Preferred Qualifications:

1 year experience in DI, as well as with ePeople and Markview.
