Job description: Our Client

This company is a top ICI General Contractor has been in the industry for many years, specializing in Commercial, Retail, and Institutional Projects. They have established a strong clientele throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

Location: GTA

Compensation: 75-95K Based on experience

In the role of Project Coordinator, your responsibilities will include ensuring the timely and cost-effective completion of all project tasks.

• Preparing, generating, and organizing various documents for project files
• Assisting with all communication with project stakeholders, including sub-trades, consultants, and clients
• Generating and logging Purchase Orders, Change Orders, RFIs, etc.
• Working with Project Managers to process shop drawings and other project and closeout documents.
• Attending project meetings (own transportation required); taking accurate minutes and distributing efficiently.
• Preparing invoices and progress draws to be issued in conjunction with Project Manager
• Taking ownership of accuracy and timely completion of project documentation

Required Qualifications:

• To qualify, you need a degree in the field or a combination of technical training and relevant experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of local experience in a similar role
• Excellent computer skills
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Enthusiasm for challenges and new initiatives
• A positive demeanor and a “make it happen” approach.
