Jardeg is recruiting a CWB Hand Welder – Journeyperson to join the team at IOL Kearl. Shift schedule will be on a 6/1 rotation for a 21 days startring Nov 1 2023.Charter flights are provided from Calgary/Edmonton to site! While working on-site, workers will be staying at the Wapasu camp which will provide hot meals, lodging, workout facility, Wi-Fi, a commissary and much more! We also have new HIGHER rates for all craft workers!
CWB WELDER performs the fabrication of machines, component stands, work platforms, work tools, handrails for mobile/semi-mobile heavy mining equipment and large construction equipment. Repairs to stands/work tools/work platforms/handrails associated to large construction equipment, mining & underground equipment.
Minimum Requirements:
Journeyperson Certificate of Completion in the Welding trade
Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS-09 or 2020) Certification
Fall Protection
Aerial Work Platform
Confined Space
Overhead Crane and Basic Rigging
First Aid – Level A or C
Valid Driver’s License
CWB FCAW – All Positions
Responsibilities:
Weld up to 30 inches (FDI) per day when the material is available (some welds may be customized while others may be repetitive procedures to complete the work)
Follow various company policies and procedures.
