ABM College is currently looking for a highly experienced, dynamic, and highly creative Dean of Healthcare Programs to join our team and play a vital role in maintaining the high standard of our Information technology programs at the college. As the Dean of Healthcare Programs, you will be responsible for continuously monitoring live classes to ensure the quality and effectiveness of the educational experience for our students.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- In charge of overseeing all operations aspects and personnel supervision, including establishing performance standards and conducting assessments, coordinating staffing resources.
- Monitor live classes and educational activities within the health programs to ensure adherence to established standards and guidelines.
- Identify areas of improvement in the delivery of curriculum, instructional materials, and teaching methods.
- Collaborate with faculty members and instructional staff to provide constructive feedback and recommendations to enhance the quality of instruction.
- Develop and implement quality assessment and improvement strategies to elevate the overall educational experience.
- Regularly assess, audit, and evaluate teaching practices, educational resources, and student engagement.
- Stay current with best practices and innovations in healthcare education and integrate them into the quality assurance process.
Education and Skills Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Healthcare, Addictions and Community Services, General Sciences or similar discipline).
- A minimum of 3 years of work-related experience in the Healthcare field.
- A minimum of 1 year of instructional experience or hold a training certificate in adult education.
- Previous experience in quality assurance or education is an asset.
- Proficient in the technical and theory translation of the course.
- Results-driven, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
- Strong organizational, research, and accuracy skills.
- Sharp listening skills and critical thinking.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication.
- Must have sensitivity and ability to successfully interact with diverse populations.
