QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Registered Nurse in good standing (or eligible to become registered) with Sask. Registered Nurses Association.
• Minimum 3 years in community health nursing experience in First Nations community an asset.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the health and social issues facing First Nations people
• Good understanding of population health principles and concepts
• Must be able to work as an effective team member and to work independently, in a self- motivated manner.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
• Willingness to travel and possession of a valid Class 5 drivers license, work flexible hours, possibility of some evenings and some weekends
• Previous working experience with First Nations people and demonstrate an understanding of the health and social issues encountered by First Nation people and a willingness to learn about and accept First Nations cultures. Knowledge of Plains Cree Language is a definite asset.
• Must provide a clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector
• Must be computer literate

Hours of Work: 8:30 to 4:30, Monday to Friday
Vehicle provided.
Competitive Salary.

Expected salary: $74502 – 88485 per year
