Job title: Eng Construction Supervisor
Job description: As an integral member of the Physical Planning and Design Solutions, the Engineering Construction Supervisor,
organizes and orchestrates design projects, under the direction of the Engineering Construction Manager. The principal
responsibilities include: developing strategies to facilitate the cost effective and timely execution of multiple/simultaneous
large/small scale multi site construction projects for assigned user groups; coordinating and implementing large/small scale
planning strategies for assigned user group; performing financial responsibilities; performing quality management
responsibilities; performing administrative responsibilities to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the department;
performing cross-functional and other duties consistent with the job classification as assigned and/or requested.
Qualifications
1. Completion of an Architectural Technology or Technician Diploma program from recognized post secondary institute
2. Minimum five or more years related experience in project coordination,
3. Minimum three years management/supervisory experience
4. Minimum two years experience in AutoCAD architectural drafting in detailed design
5. Demonstrated computer literacy and experience utilizing other programs such as Microsoft word, Excel, etc.
6. Demonstrated ability to produce high quality reports and meet scheduling deadlines
7. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
8. Excellent time management and organizational skills
9. Excellent problem recognition and resolution skills
10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
11. Excellent analytical skills
12. Completion of an Interior Design program an asset
13. Minimum five years experience working in a hospital environment an asset
