COVID-19 Testing and contact tracing remain an organizational priority in AHS. Public Health, Central Zone, in the Community, Rural and Continuing Care portfolio leads testing for symptomatic and asymptomatic cases at a variety of sites in the community. Our Assessment Centre and “Fast Tracks” in the Central Zone have a key role in population health and surveillance through the early identification of disease and prevention of the spread of COVID19. As the Administrative Support III and reporting to the Area Coordinator and Manager of Community Administrative Support Services (CASS) operating out of Vegreville you will provide support to the multi-disciplinary team members within our program. You will be responsible for preparing client packages in preparation for clients who have self-booked an appointment online, confirming client demographics and booking client appointments for those unable to self-book in our computer application either by telephone or in person and at drop in. Additional duties and responsibilities may be required as per operational needs. You will demonstrate strong communication, professionalism and customer service skills; be self-directed; demonstrate critical thinking, time management, confliction resolution, and decision-making skills; accurately collect and document information in a timely manner; be adaptable in an environment with constant interruptions and short timelines; show accountability and attention to detail; and foster collaboration with members of the interdisciplinary team.The position will be required to work across a variety of testing sites and locations across Central Zone.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Additional Required Qualifications:

Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time for the purpose of data entry or working at the drop in service. a post-secondary Business, Office Administration or Unit Clerk Diploma/Certificate required or a combination of education and applicable experience suitable to the Employer. demonstrated accuracy and proficiency in intermediate computer and keyboarding skills; minimum 40 wpm required. Test will be administered. demonstrated proficiency in working with Word, Excel, Outlook Calendar bookings and other Windows Office Suite programs required. Test will be administered. three years practical office experience. ability to work collaboratively with managers and staff from the various departments. examples of exceptional customer service approach with staff, management, clients and the public with both internal staff services and public service examples. examples of being a self-directed individual with strong interpersonal skills. examples showing willingness and ability to adapt to new situations and changes. willingness to learn new data systems as implemented. ability to exercise judgment, professionalism, diplomacy and discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times ability to work effectively within a team approach or independently in a fast-paced, multi-task environment. ability to cope under pressure, deal with stress effectively and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with SharePoint, Netcare, Oracle (i-procurement) CPSM & Grand and Toy supply requisitioning systems and community based Meditech applications (i.e. CWS).
