Job description: Adecco is currently seeking a diligent and experienced Shipping Coordinator to join our clients team for their Scarborough, ON location. As a key support in the logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating outbound shipments, communicating with carriers and customers, and ensuring timely deliveries. This is a Contract/Temp role offering a competitive salary of $26 per hour.

Pay rate: $26/hour.

Responsibilities:

Reports to Warehouse Supervisor.

Pulls daily reports from Power BI for available shipments.

Prints and issues Pick/Pack orders to shippers/receivers.

Communicates with carriers and customers for order pick-ups.

Monitors outbound/inbound shipments to meet deadlines.

Conducts weekly deep dives into shipping fines for major retailers.

Participates in plant-wide physical inventories.

Supports inventory investigations and discrepancies.

Follows Environmental, Health & Safety Policies/Procedures and Quality Procedures.

Minimum Grade 12 education, 2-3 years’ warehouse experience.

Capable of lifting up to 50lbs.

Knowledge of spill cleanups, WHMIS/GHS procedures.

Computer literate with Microsoft Windows + Office. JD Edwards/SAP preferred.

Flexibility to work overtime, evenings, nights, or weekends.

Effective written and oral communication skills.

Requirements:

Legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent (bachelor’s degree preferred).

2 to 3 years’ experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Capable of lifting up to 50lbs.

Knowledge of spill cleanups and response, WHMIS/GHS procedures.

Computer literate with Microsoft Windows + Office. JD Edwards/SAP preferred.

Flexibility to work overtime, evenings, nights, or weekends.

Effective written and oral communication skills.
