POSITION: MEDICAL RADIATION TECHNOLOGIST, General X-Ray & CT

POSITION SUMMARY: The Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) is responsible for the safe, effective and efficient performance of a variety of procedures. The MRT will use independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in the application of ionizing radiation.

REPORTS TO: Manager, Diagnostic Imaging

DATE REQUIRED: As soon as possible

SALARY: $32.99 to $44.22 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Must have current registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario.
-CT Imaging Certification or Equivalent an asset

EXPERIENCE:
-Previous experience as a Medical Radiation Technologist required.
-Clinical experience in the area of CT an asset.

ABILITIES:
-Able to maintain an effective working relationship with patients, physicians, hospital staff and the public.
-Must be able to work independently.
