Job title: Accountant / Office Assistant
Job description: As an Accountant/Office Assistant with Southern Design and Build (SDB) your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Manage all book keeping, presently using quick books to:
– Project track
– Project Invoice
– Manage Accounts payable and receivable
– Complete Payroll and remittance
– Reconciling accounts
– Posting journal entries
– Maintain financial statements
– File and remit all taxes
– Provide senior accountant with monthly auditing reports and financials
– Provide construction managers with project costing reports
Southern Design and Build is looking for someone that:
– Has formal accounting degree or diploma
– Has A minimum of 2 years or progressive general accounting experience
– Is knowledgeable in excel and QuickBooks
– Is Knowledgeable in construction and agricultural accounting
– Has the ability to follow direction while working as a team and independently
– Can work under pressure in a fast paced, quality driven environment
– Is a strong problem-solver and is very forward thinking
– Has strong organization and time management skills
– Has a high attention to detail and organization
– Is Quick learner and self motivated
– Is Punctual and reliable
– Has excellent oral communication
