Job description: Our successful candidate shall possess these qualities and experience to join our dynamic team. We are looking for someone available to work full time or part time .

Accounting Technician

– Minimum of 1 year experience in accounting in the field of real estate and construction, an asset

– Experience in financial accounting including analytical component

– Good computer skills

– Strong skills in Excel (required)

– Knowledge of HOPEM software, MAESTRO an asset

– Versatile, a multitasker and flexible

– Takes initiative and is a team player

– Interpersonal skills, resourceful and autonomous

– Bilingual

Responsibilities:

– Prepare journal entries

– Perform bank reconciliations

– Prepare end-of-month and end-of-year files and reports

– Produce GST/QST tax reports

– Assist in supporting to the department

– Perform any other related task relevant to the department

Requirements

• Essential – Excel
• Important – Hopem and Maestro
• Essential – Minimum 1 year experience in Accounting
• Essential – Knowledge of the complete accounting cycle

Knowledge and abilities

• Essential – Knowledge of Real Estate/Construction
