Our esteemed client, dedicated to preventing youth poverty through education success, is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team.
What they offer:
– 3 weeks of vacation
– 2 weeks of personal days
– 2 weeks off during the holiday season
– Summer 4-day work week (July to September) although paid for 37.5 hours
– 100% employer-paid group insurance premiums
– Retirement plan with employer contribution of 5%
– $1,000 for computer equipment or office furniture grant
– Up to $60 monthly phone plan reimbursement
– Hybrid work policy (flexible)
Who they would love to meet:
– High school diploma (DES or DEP) or college diploma (DEC) in office administration, documentation technology, humanities, administration, or any relevant field
– At least 3 years of experience in administrative support roles
– Strong understanding of information technologies and document management
– Excellent bilingual skills in both written and spoken to support and communicate with clients outside Quebec region
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
– Knowledge of Visio and SharePoint is an asset
Responsibilities:
– Plan and coordinate meetings and events for the team
– Take meeting notes, draft summaries, and facilitate communication with other departments
– Follow up on team meeting decisions and actions
– Review and ensure the quality of documents
– Format documents and presentations
– Contribute to effective document management
– Coordinate meeting and event logistics
– Organize business travel, including itinerary planning and reservations
– Occasionally cover reception duties
– Handle other related tasks as needed
