Job description: Shannex is recruiting a full time Administrative Coordinator to join their team at Caritas Residence. Caritas is a retirement living home overlooking the beautiful Bedford Basin in Halifax, Nova Scotia. In partnership with the Sisters of Charity, Caritas was originally built to provide comfortable and peaceful retirement living accommodations for members of the Sisters of Charity congregation and is now home to seniors in the community.

Who You Are…
As the successful candidate, have an office administration diploma (or equivalent), with a minimum of 1 year office administration experience using MS Suite and experience processing accounts payable transactions. You are a caring and compassionate individual who takes pride in their work. A supportive and approachable team player, you set an ideal example with your colleagues. You are dependable and always display a positive attitude. If you have experience working with seniors or in healthcare, that’s just an added bonus!
What you will do…
Reporting to the Business Manager, the Administrative Coordinator directs and manages the operation of the front office and reception services. As a part of the Management Team, participates in the planning and implementation of strategic initiatives.
