This Administrative Support III position is to support the Immunization Services and Rapid Response teams which includes the 2021/22 North Zone Influenza Program and COVID immunization clinics and outreach sites. With over four million Albertans to vaccinate in the coming year, we need your help to ensure our population is protected against COVID-19. As the Administrative Support III, and a member of our COVID-19 vaccination administrative support team, you will provide support to the multi-disciplinary team members within our program. You will be responsible for greeting and wayfinding members of the general public, using computer applications to search client vaccination records and verifying and updating client demographic information. Additional duties and responsibilities may be required as per operational needs. The North Zone is geographically the largest zone in Alberta. As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Additional Required Qualifications:
Proficient with computer programs – Outlook, MS Office, Skype. Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time for the purpose of data entry or working at the drop in service. Able to lift and carry necessary immunization supplies and equipment, repetitive arm motions and sitting and bending for long periods. Ability to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends. Preferred Qualifications:
Completion of a Unit Clerk or Medical Office Assistant certificate program. Experience providing administrative support in a healthcare/medical related setting within the last 3 years.
