Job description: Your Opportunity:
Working within a collaborative team environment, this role will support HR Shared Services in any of the following areas: Pension, Benefits/LOA, HR Administration and Recruitment. The Administrative Support IV is a specialized role administering and processing employee life events in accordance with Collective Agreements and Covenant Health policies. This position requires extensive knowledge of policies, procedures, collective agreements and various technological systems. This position is highly transactional and must manage tight pay period driven time lines. The hours of work are from 8:00 – 4:15.

As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in business administration, medical office assistant), or other related fields. Additional Required Qualifications:
Diploma or Degree in Human Resources is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Minimum of 3 year’s experience in an HR Environment. Must have strong comprehension of the English language and must be able to articulate to clients. Proficient in the use of MS Word and Excel. Ability to function independently in a high demand, multi-tasking environment. Preferred Qualifications:
Direct Peoplesoft experience and/or a Recruitment Management system is considered an asset. Previous experience in HR Shared Services or HRBP. Experience in any of the following would be considered an asset: Benefits, Payroll, Pension, Recruitment, HR Admin. Experience in a unionized environment and Knowledge of Covenant Collective Agreements.
