Utilities is centralized for Alberta Health Services and all invoices are received centrally either on paper, through a dedicated email account or accessible through utility vendor web portals. This Administrative Support IV – Utility position is responsible for receiving utility invoices, processing for payment through AHS financial system and inputting utility data manually or digitally to the AHS web based utility management software.

As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in business administration, medical office assistant), or other related fields. Additional Required Qualifications:

The individual is required to have suburb written and verbal communication skills as they have to often interact with utility vendors on billing issues and provide utility information or reports to a variety of stakeholders in and outside of AHS. They would be providing training on the web based utility management system to internal and external stakeholders Advanced skills with excel would be considered an asset and familiarity with accounting principles. Advanced skills with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word are essential to the position. Preferred Qualifications:
