Job Description
You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on various aspects of our sports business, including fan engagement, sponsorship, and marketing effectiveness. Working closely with our Business Analytics team, you will leverage your analytical skills and business acumen to provide insights and recommendations that drive data-driven decision-making. This role requires collaboration with our MLSE Digital Labs group, marketing leaders and Global Partnerships team to enhance fan engagement and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Marketing and Partnership teams to facilitate data-driven decision-making and problem-solving.
- Assist in measuring the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, including ROI, customer engagement, and conversion rates.
- Optimize campaigns based on data-driven insights, ensuring continuous improvement and positive ROI.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to benchmark performance and identify best practices.
- Partner with the Corporate Partnerships team to identify revenue generation opportunities, encompassing pricing and deployment strategies
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders from other departments and assist in the development of data and measurement strategies for Partnerships and Marketing
- Support rate card analysis for various assets. including media valuation and lead generation activities
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities in consumer behaviour and fan engagement within the sports industry
- Utilize market research and audience segmentation data to identify insights for creating successful campaigns
- Provide regular performance reporting with recommendations to enhance overall effectiveness, customer acquisition and client lifetime spend
- Gather, clean, and analyze data from diverse sources, such as surveys, web analytics, social media, and internal databases
- Create and present reports, dashboards, and visualizations that communicate key findings and actionable insights.
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or graduate degree in marketing, business, statistics, or a related field
- Demonstrated experinece in a marketing role with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Google Analytics.
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, and programming in scripting languages (R, Python, SQL) to develop reports and dashboards
- Excellent analytical skills and strong business acumen
- Experience in building cost of acquisition and client lifetime value models
- Outstanding organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Passion for sports and a deep understanding of the sports business industry.
- Positive, people-oriented, and energetic attitude with a team-first approach.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex insights to a non-technical audience.
- Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
