Your role

  • Align and adjust video equipment (cameras, video monitors, distribution equipment, etc.) according to quality standards
  • Check technical setups required for video control, making the necessary alignments and adjustments per established methods
  • Operate video control equipment for one or more camera chains to meet production requirements
  • Program and operate robotic cameras according to production requirements
  • Operate the lighting console during productions
  • If necessary, carry out all or part of the duties of another job classification within an equivalent or lower salary group, as well as other related duties
  • Ability to operate a studio camera an asset
  • Ability to set up microphones and Telex intercoms an asset

Please note these are casual (temporary less than 13 weeks, on-call, part-time) opportunities and shifts may include being assigned to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights and weekends.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with the following:

Qualifications:

College diploma (DEC) in electronics technology (audiovisual option) or a relevant field

Minimum three (3) years’ experience performing related duties, an asset

Skills:

Good judgment

Initiative

Ability to work effectively on a team

Ability to communicate and cooperate with multiple stakeholders

Good knowledge of French (spoken and written)

Candidates may be subject to skills and knowledge testing.
