TalentSphere is proud to be partnered with a highly reputable & established boutique design-oriented architecture firm in beautiful Vancouver, BC. This firm is a smaller firm, but offers full project exposure, resulting in well-rounded growth for their employees. Being a collaborative and open-minded group of individuals, this firm offers a ton of room for career development and growth.

Primary project sectors included large scale master planning, low-rise & mid-rise mixed-use residential, commercial office and small-scale infill projects. Strongly believing in the fact that buildings should be community oriented and contribute positively to the public realm, this firm stands out with its design concepts and ideas.

Our client is currently looking to add an Architectural Technologist/Construction Administrator with 5-10 years of Canadian working experience on a full-time, permanent basis.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5-10 Years experience (3 of those in CA), in Canada
  • Technologist degree from an accredited program
  • Effective and concise communication, organizational and leadership skills
  • Understanding of sustainable design, including LEED and BC Energy Step Code, as well as local building codes and standards.
  • Experience in AutoCAD & Revit
  • Experience with working in a collaborative environment to develop project documentation on complex projects; demonstrate effective problem-solving and communication skills; demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively in teams and/or in a studio setting
  • Must be registered with the AIBC, or eligible to be registered in the province of British Columbia
  • Experience in the preparation of CD documentation for a range of projects including multifamily residential, medium to large scale buildings and master planning
  • Experience being on site solving construction relation issues, responding to RFI’s & reviewing shop drawings
