POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Located in Longueuil, the Jazz Longueuil residence managed by Cogir, offers a friendly atmosphere where it is stimulating to work. We have a dedicated and caring team for independent seniors and those with a slight loss of autonomy. We are looking for a Beneficiary Attendant who will contribute to the quality of life for residents. The Beneficiary Attendant sees to the comfort, well-being, security and general needs of residents by providing them with hygienic and comfort care.

To fill the position, you must be available every weekend from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm. You will also be called upon to provide bathing aid and food aid to our residents.

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate in maintaining a bond of trust with the families or relatives of residents as well as with the various stakeholders (CLSC, CSSS, etc.)
• Help and support residents in their travels
• Notify the nurse and / or the person in charge of health services of any observed changes in the state of health of the residents
• Provide support for residents to activities, the dining room and appointments at the foyer
• Respond to all emergency situations

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• PDSB training
• Up-to-date CPR / AED general first aid training
