Job description: Bilingual Intermediate Administrative Assistant

We’re currently looking for an Intermediate Bilingual Administrative Assistant to work with a client of ours in the East End of Ottawa off of Innes Rd.

Shift: Monday- Friday
Hours: 8am-4:30 Monday to Thursday, 8am-3pm Friday
Pay: $16.00/hr-$18.00/hr- Negotiable based on experience

Job Details:

  • Answering and routing phone calls
  • Data Entry
  • Filing of all accounts payable and Project documents
  • Processing accounts payable documents: Work Orders, Purchase Orders, Sales Invoices etc.
  • Emailing Invoices on projects when they are completed
  • Preparing all staff Correspondence
  • Calculating all inventory purchase requisitions
  • Payroll preparation on a temporary basis when replacing office manager

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Must be bilingual (English and French)
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to take initiative
  • Previous experience in an Administrative role (6months to 1 year)
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and previous experience with Sage
