Our client is looking for a Bilingual (English and French) administrative professional to join their team based in New Westminster.

This is a part-time role: Mondays and Wednesdays, from 10am to 2pm.

This is for someone who enjoys variety in their day, dealing with customers and has high attention to detail.

ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client, a well-established food manufacturer, is looking for a part-time Bilingual (English and French) Administrative Assistant to join their growing team in their New Westminster office. Your administrative experience and customer-service skills are keys to success in this role!

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a part-time role: Mondays and Wednesdays, from 10am to 2pm.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

  • Answers and transfers phone calls, screening when necessary.
  • Collects and manages mail.
  • Maintains filing systems as assigned.
  • Retrieves information as requested from records, email, minutes, and other related documents; prepares written summaries of data when needed.
  • Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions.
  • Coordinates and schedules travel, meetings, and appointments for managers or supervisors.
  • Prepares agendas and schedules for meetings.
  • Records and distributes minutes or other records for meetings.
  • Maintains office supplies and coordinates maintenance of office equipment.
  • Assists with sales and customer service.
  • Ad hoc administration and projects as needed

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • Completion of post-secondary diploma/ Bachelors degree
  • 2+ years of office administration experience
  • Bilingual: English and French, verbal and written
  • Customer Service or client facing background preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office suite especially MS Excel

COMPENSATION

  • $20 – $25/hour + 4% vacation pay
  • Training provided
