Project Overview:

The project is about a major transit infrastructure project, with costs > CAD 1B. The procurement model is a Design-Build-Finance (DBF), which means our team is responsible for design development during the bid and project phases.

Main purpose:

The mission of the BIM Manager is to structure, organize and supervise the BIM processes and their implementation during the Bid and Project Phases. He/she will provide support and all his/her knowledge regarding the BIM processes to the Bid Technical Team.

You will do…

• Setting and organizing the BIM strategy to be embedded in the design development for both Bid and Project phases
• Development of the BIM Management Plan for the Bid design stage and any other processes and documents required to develop the project design
• Coordination with our technical Bid team, including some explanations about the tools and processes to apply
• Coordination with our partner and other stakeholders (designer, subcontractors, etc.)
• Supporting the Interface & Integration Manager

• for the interfaces management activities
• for the handover and testing & commissioning activities
• Supporting the designer management, regarding BIM subject
• Supporting the management and technical teams regarding the BIM requirements during the Bid and Project phases
• Providing support with contractual subjects:

• Analysis of client requirements (for both Bid and Project phases), defined in the RFP documents
• Integrating these requirements in the technical Bid teams, i.e. defining the process to implement during the bid phase (tasks, processes, activities) that the designer and the overall Bid team shall implement
• Development and integration of these requirements in the subcontracts/agreements

You have…

• A Master degree in engineering or construction
• Similar experience in managing design or engineering in a collaborative project building infrastructure
