This role is based in Toronto, Canada and has hybrid expectations.

Responsibilities
- Work with the Divisional Merchandise Manager to build, review and execute product line assortments that will over-achieve planned financial targets
- Collaborate with vendors and/or internal Product Development team to establish a line of product that meets the needs of our customer while maximizing sales, turnover and gross margin
- Analyze sales reports and market trends to identify trends and help forecast future sales potential
- Effectively partner with Planning and Finance teams to manage a dynamic open-to-buy process and develop long-term financial plans for future seasons
- Partner with Allocation team to ensure proper store-level distribution of all product and concepts
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for all standing weekly business reviews, seasonal product overviews and other ad hoc meetings as needed
- Regularly travel the field and meet with store teams to stay connected with the consumer, understand the competitive set, and keep track of overall trends within the marketplace
- Coordinate with Logistics, Merchandising and Ops teams to facilitate product delivery from DC to stores
- Manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines while remaining flexible to changing priorities
- Effectively interface with Sr. Executives and make recommendations regarding opportunities in the business
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing retail and e-commerce buying processes and/or product life cycles is required.
Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- An eye for commercial product, plus strong ability to identify general marketplace trends while maintaining an ongoing understanding of streetwear culture along with other cues that inform our consumer’s lifestyle.
- Financial acumen and analytical skills.
- Relationship-building and the ability to effectively collaborate across the organization.
- Creative thinking and effective problem-solving capability.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with peers, cross-functional teams, and upper management.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to be detail oriented as needed.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
- Software applications: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of BI (Business Intelligence) or similar systems, as well as mainframe systems, QMF, Purchase Order System, GMS is preferred
- Passport required to travel to US

The annual base salary range is $80,000 – $90,000 CAD / year This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
