Job description: Searching for a casual cook / kitchen helper assistant who is passionate, skilled and self-motivated to join our team in Oakville ON.
This role will be responsible for assisting in the development and production of ready to eat product lines and condiments, and assisting with our small goods production This is the perfect opportunity for someone with the attention to detail and creativity to help us ensure an exceptional product of which is known for.
Reporting to the operation manager, this role is critical to the success of our ready to eat products and small goods production.
The general responsibilities of the role include:
Preparing and handling food, with a dedicated focus on quality and OH&S
Assisting small goods supervisor with production of small goods
Slicing and packaging of small goods
Maintaining and cleaning the area
Producing ready to eat products, condiments and sauces
Working closely with the production team to ensure every product meets the superior quality standard that is known for
Performing regular stock taking activities, as required
Following all OH&S procedures and asking questions if ever unsure about the correct way to do something
Part-time, Casual Salary: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour Schedule: * Day shift * afternoon shift

Training will be provided
A good understanding of meat would be a benefit but a desire to learn would be a must.
