Working in a cooler/freezer environment, the General Relief (warehouse person) prepares customer orders, loads trucks, rotates and replenishes stock, cleans and does other duties including inventory. Working with a team or independently the loader will also use an in floor track system, fork-lift, pallet jacks, and reach jacks.

Class One is an asset as the loader may be responsible for moving trucks around the yard or the occasional barge or ferry run.

Our logistics department share resources so your primary duties will be in the warehouse with occasional opportunities to drive and/or make deliveries.

• Schedule will be 4 x 9 hour shifts per week at our 24/7 facility.
• You can expect to work a combination of days, nights, and graveyard shifts and schedules will vary week to week.
• We proudly offer an excellent compensation package. Starting wage is 70% of top rate of $35.54 per hour -will progress to top rate. An excellent benefits package offered after a successful probationary period.

Requirements

• High School Graduate
• Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends and nights
• Ability to follow standard operational procedures and work in a safe manner
• Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pull up to 250 lbs
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Strong customer service orientation
• Previous warehouse experience as well as current and clean class 1 drivers licence is an asset

Recruitment screening will include a criminal record check, psychometric evaluation, pre-employment medical and reference checks.

Expected salary: $35.54 per hour
