GCPE leads and coordinates government communications and public engagement through three divisions: Communications and Media Relations Division, Strategic Communications Division and Corporate Services Division.
The Human Resources branch provides professional human resource services to all business units of GCPE. Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:
Education & Experience:
- Secondary School graduation or equivalent.
- Three years (or more) of experience working in a professional office environment.
- Experience assisting with human resource administrative functions, payroll or leave management including consulting with the appropriate parties for guidance, submitting paperwork and verifying information.
- Experience in a high-volume environment with numerous competing priorities.
Preference may be given to applicants with:
- Experience applying policies, legislation or procedures and identifying options and solutions.
- Experience working with highly confidential and sensitive issues or documents.
- Experience supporting the administration of the public service recruitment process.
- Experience in a public service human resources role or environment.
- Experience with CHIPS (Peoplesoft).
