Job description: The Upper Thames River Conservation Authority is currently accepting resumes for the long fixed-term contract position of Community Education Technician. This position will be 15 months in length.

Responsibilities:
Participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of environmental education programs designed to foster value for conservation.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from a recognized community college or university in a resource management field.
• A teacher’s certificate an asset.
• A strong natural history knowledge base.
• A minimum of one year experience related to the major tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills required.
• Ability to work well as a member of a team.
• Current Ontario Driver’s Licence.

Location:
This position will be based out of the Wildwood Conservation Area, near St. Marys, ON.

Wage/benefits:
$24.99 – $30.40/hr, 35 hours per week
